I haven’t been tracking ETH much because I only have BTC and mostly focus on that only, but can anyone tell me what’s the currency price ETH is?

Also, I will be interested in knowing what the peak it has hit so far is and does anyone know any trustable exchange for BTC to ETH?

I have around 2 BTC and I will not mind having some of other E-Currency if there is enough potential there.

I agree with you in most points you made. BTC is currently expensive to invest. Ethereum provide an alternative. I am personally liking it, that's why following it. The analysis I shared was for this week In the medium term, ETH price is bound to rise.

      Cheers,

That’s very true….. Bitcoin is just so out of reach now and even having 1 BTC could be extremely hard, so just not the one to go for at present. I don’t know how good Ethereum is or might become but potential is definitely there to be looked at. I am checking your analysis for the week and it’s definitely very helpful, so thank you for that and keep it up.

I won’t say too far in the future, but presently, it does offer fairly decent opportunity to make out solid returns. But, it’s must that we remain calm with these things because it could take time to bring profits, but if we think that it can be done in minutes then that could face huge frustration, so always consider this as long term investment not short one. If we have right mindset then only we could benefit.

I also feel ETH is a good buy at the moment, especially against the BTC. So, ETH/BTC can be considered a buy if you are willing to wait for 3-5 months IMO

Absolutely correct! Patience is the key as I mentioned above. If we think that just few days or weeks will be enough to bring huge profit then we are mistaken, but if we can wait for 4-5 months as you said then it could be seriously rewarding. Unfortunately, it’s fair to say that newbies lack patience big time and that’s why often a good opportunity is missed and then the only thing left is frustration and feeling sad over it.

I am not sure at all. I mean, I do agree with the points mentioned above but still there is a lot that we need to look at. I think for small investors, it’s better to go with alternative like ETH, but if anyone is investing big amounts then you really are not sensible to go with ETH, it’s better to put stable and safety approach ahead. We should never try to do out of box stuff unnecessarily.

Only the future will tell. Well any payment method or investment asset needs to be legal first and then we can correspondingly transact or save it. Of late Ethereum is catching up but still far to go. If people especially the big boys find Ethereum to be more worthy then it’s price might explode to the top side.

But as usual Crypto Currencies are quite risky than even the normal assets due to its nature, thus depends on you risk taking ability!

To be successful and to make money, it’s never for waiting, it’s all about action dude! As per Ethereum catching, it’s definitely not realistic, as no way it can compete. But, I would not put it in race along with something like Bitcoin, as till that is active; it’s never going to leave the first spot. It’s not like if Bitcoin decreases it’s going to help other Crypto Currencies, if Bitcoin drops then it will reflex across including on Ether.

No, it’s too slow for my liking. I feel impatient with such investments, as if we see the charts, it’s forever stuck between 8-10 USD, so what how else are we expecting to gain from?

I consider it not worthy instead I put my finger on Bitcoin or some other Crypto Currency only, as I feel that is far better option and is surely much more profitable too, so we are better off at them then this one in Ether.

All investments carry the risks. So Ethereum is no exception! It can crash, collapse & vanish and you can’t do anything about that! So before investing in anything you must clearly understand the risks & rewards else stay away. Nobody is forcing you to invest! Depending on your preparation and market conditions, you might either make or lose money in various degrees. Crypto-currencies has caught the fancy of many and how future holds nobody really knows!

What future holds for any asset class which can be measured in money, nobody knows. One can do calculated prediction based on historical price, current price and likely future price!

Then again, nobody has a crystal ball or see the events in the future clearly. So you need not sell your house to buy all the Ethereum you can get! Rather be prudent and see to that your investing objectives are good enough for you to invest for long based on your risk-to-reward ratio.

That’s fair but how you really calculate or measure things like crypto currencies or like Bitcoin? They hardly work with similar pattern and mostly, it’s unpredictable movements that we see all across, so how are you doing to put that in explanation? Anyhow, I agree we don’t have crystal ball which is why I see it better that we invest with common sense not randomly just because it looks popular or if it’s gaining higher.

There are many Crypto Currencies ahead of Ethereum at this stage, so I am not sure if this is really worthy investment.

It is extremely hard to pick any Crypto Currency outside BTC because we obviously fear that we could get stuck, so that’s why we have to be very careful and think twice before we think about taking any action, as only then we are likely to gain good returns and will be able to make profits as well for our self.

It will be fair to say that it is not correct. I strongly believe that we need to be wise with investment and if anyone who watches Ether closely, he is going to tell you that the present moment is not right. This thread is nearly 6 months old and back then, it was much better situation for this and we saw many people investing as well. But things have changed very much since then, so we need to change our mindset too.
